OUR CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is designed around the age-appropriate principles of the Montessori method, ensuring a holistic and engaging learning experience for our children. The Montessori Curriculum encompasses five key areas of study:
Practical Life: These activities help children to develop, language: vocabularies life skills that promote independence, coordination, concentration, and a sense of responsibility. Through tasks such as pouring, sorting, cleaning, and dressing, children learn to care for themselves and their environment.
Sensorial: Sensorial activities are designed to refine the five senses, enhancing children’s perceptual abilities. By using materials that focus on size, shape, color, texture, and sound, children sharpen their observational skills and deepen their understanding of the world around them.
Mathematics: Montessori mathematics introduces children to numbers, counting, and basic arithmetic using hands-on materials. These activities build a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, encouraging logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Language: The language area emphasizes the development of communication skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Through storytelling, phonetic games, and literacy exercises, children expand their vocabulary and gain confidence in expressing themselves.
Cultural Studies: This area includes geography, science, history, and art, providing children with a broader understanding of the world and its diverse cultures. Through exploration and creative activities, children develop a sense of curiosity and appreciation for global diversity.
Our Montessori curriculum places added emphasis on parent-teacher participation, sensorial learning, imaginative play, and, most importantly, a whole lot of fun. This approach ensures that our children grow into inquisitive, independent, and well-rounded kindergarteners who love to engage and interact with the world around them.
Personal Attention and Thoughtful Programs for Happy Learning
OUR PROGRAMS
One of the important functions of our preschool programs is to help children acquire essential learning-related skills. These skills include the ability to express thoughts clearly, adapt behaviors to situational demands, control impulsivity, exhibit curiosity, maintain concentration, and develop social competence.
School readiness in our Montessori curriculum goes beyond teaching basic language and mathematics skills. It is also about promoting self-regulation, which is crucial for a child’s overall development and future academic success. Our approach ensures that children are not only prepared academically but also equipped with the emotional and social tools necessary to thrive in a school environment.
